European Organic Cotton Fabrics from Westfalenstoffe

New fabric has arrived! Westfalenstoffe from Germany has a long history of producing eco-friendly fabrics. These are from their organic line and in addition to being made from organically grown cotton, the fabrics are made with: chlorine-free bleach, reactive dye, reactive print and vat dyening, no azoic dye, no formaldehyde, no optical brightener, with pH-value that is sympathetic to the skin, Öko-Tex Standard 100 certified, heavy metal free, no residual shrinkage, fastness to abrasion, fastness to perspiration, wash fastness, fastness to water.

A little update as to when I'll be receiving more fabric in the shop! I have some beautiful fabric coming from Europe, although it is being held up in customs at the moment, I hope to have it here and listed sometime next week.

There are 4 fantastic new lines of organic quilting cotton being released after the first of the year. I plan to carry all of them! Perfect timing for those projects waiting until after the holidays. Sometimes I Feel Like Baking Cookies
