Happy Monday Giveaway Day!

I'm starting a new feature here at the blog. A little giveaway on Mondays. What do you think? Would you like to win some organic cotton fabric?

To start things off, I'm giving away a fat quarter set of 4 prints from the My Happy Garden collection by Michelle Engel Bencsko for Cloud9 Fabrics. The prints are: Flock, Lines, Blue Yonder and Meadow.

To win, leave a comment on this post about what you're thinking of making as gifts for the holidays!

Good luck! Comments close on this Friday at midnight!

I would love some of these fabrics. A good friend is having her first baby soon so i would love to make her something special as a keepsake.

We've gone all Felicity at my house and so my gift sewing is mostly of the Colonial persuasion this year, including a few girl sized gowns for dress up. And mob caps. Last time I made a mob cap, I was in second grade and wore it to assembly. Hopefully my sewing has improved since then.

I make my kids & husband PJs every year for solstice. I will also be knitting some things for them, making a kid-sized sling for a niece, and who knows what else?!? I'd like to make my son a new quilt, too, but not sure if I'll be able to squeeze it in.

I always make something for my son's daycare teachers -- men and women. I'm thinking pillow cases this year.

Ooh, such yummy fabrics! For Christmas, I'm planning to knit socks for all the mamas and make sets of bean bags for all the babies in my circle, all of whom have recently discovered their ability to throw objects, and we're trying to help them explore their potential without letting them break everything in the house!

Oh, what a lovely giveaway! I love those little blue birdies! My youngest one just moved to a toddler bed, and he could use a new quilt! The soft blue and lime green would be great colors to use!

I'm going to me making stockings for myself, my husband, the kiddo and hubby's two brothers. The rest of the sewing will probably be for the kiddo: felt food, a stuffed animal, flannel pants, knit pants, crayon roll, car roll...We'll see how much of this I get done! lol

This year I think I'll make my girls their pajamas. Family tradition dictates new pajamas on Christmas Eve, but I usually buy them.
