New Bread Box
It's not often that I buy something brand new for the kitchen. When I saw these metal bread boxes at Target I knew I had to have one. First of all, I don't have a bread box and we eat a lot of bread, bagels, english muffins, etc. They sit in bags on the counter - unsightly! ;) Also, the colors are fantastic! Cherry red, turquoise or deep yellow.
I immediately used my new red bread box to create a grouping for the January Challenge in the Interior Styling flickr pool. Rules are to use 3, 5 or 7 items in a grouping. Well, there are many more rules than that, but those are the most import. Above is my submission.
Oh, wondering how it opens?

That is so cute! I love that bread box! Mine is tall and the bread gets flat after stacking bread in there...might need to take me a trip to Target today! I don't ever get decorating rules, but yours is cute!
This breadbox is popping up all over blogland! I got it in green!
Thanks Marie! That decorating pool on flickr is kind of fun - she sets some rules and you post arranged pictures following the rules. I love seeing how everyone intreprets what she posts!
Beth - I didn't see green at my Target, just yellow, turquoise and red (and I got the last red one!) I'd love to see it in green. I haven't seen it on other blogs yet, but I had a feeling it'd be popular - who's posting about it?
Isn't that adorable?!? I bought the yellow one (on clearance) to store plastic wrap and foil. I also bought the matching canister set. They are cute as well, but not airtight :-( Ah well, they are a great way to bring a pop of yellow from my living area to my kitchen in my open-plan condo.
Oh, I wish we had Target... I've been looking for a bread box.
OMG, I love the breadbox at target...good choice on red :) I got myself the green one...using it for my desk. Wish they would come out with more cool designs like that!!
