To Market, To Market With My New Bag

To Market Bag

I'm off to Quilt Market to scout some new organic fabrics. I'll be sure to take photos and show you what I find.

I had planned to make myself a very cute and fancy new tote for market, but alas life got in the way yet again and I ended up making myself a cute but plain tote instead. Pattern is from Japanese craft book Linen Wool Cotton (English version) and was silly-easy to make. I used lightweight organic cotton / hemp denim, which I am currently sold out of, but will be restocking soon.

So tune in next week for photos of the fantastic new organic cotton collections coming our way and I will leave you with a sneak peek of Cloud9's upcoming organic cotton FLANNEL (!) collection called Forest Friends, which will include 6 prints and 3 solids.

Great bag! Loooove the fabric you used to make it! :) Have a great time at Quilters Market--can't wait to see pictures! ;)
