New Pattern: Sunny Day Dress & Skirt by Jamie Christina

New in the shop, the Sunny Day Dress and Skirt sewing pattern by Jamie Christina. The top of the dress is a halter top with neck straps that tie behind the neck.  The skirt is gathered and the back of the waistband is gathered with elastic.  The dress is backless and the bodice covers beyond the side seams, which makes the dress comfortable to wear. (Picture below is of the skirt)

Edited to add: below is a photo of the back of the dress (cut as a shirt instead), worn over a tank top:

Jamie Christina sewing patterns are easy to follow with illustrations and a glossary. As a matter of fact, my favorite apron pattern, Jamie Christina's Pretty Ditty Apron pattern, is backin stock, too. This pattern is so easy to make and the results are so beautiful and professional looking - a true boutique-style apron!

I think beautiful aprons could be made with this pattern and some Monaco fabric. Christmas gifts, anyone?

Cute! I wish I could see a picture of the back of that dress pattern though. :)
